Hey, I've been awol for a while, trying to decide if I'll keep this up. I don't think that I will in the weblog's current form--it's a ton of work for me right now, more than it might seem to be. However, I do have an already-existing weblog at http://besweet.diaryland.com--I'll be updating there every Friday with my Sims picks for the week, and on other days with random popcultural, political, and nonsensical links. Simfreaks has updated with new clothes for your Sim ladies for summer, and a new living room set with a cool plasma TV.

Another great Friday Furniture update at WDS--a wood living room. Check out the second part of their WDS Store, with a sales clerk. Next week there's a new kitchen that looks really nice.

Sandy brings us a new living room set and some photographs for the walls.

New rugs, skins, and flowers at Studio Sim.

Rachel at Trinkets and Treasures has updated with some new skins, as well as updated Ford Thunderbirds and a wall/floor set.

An umbrella and a barbeque have been added at Persimmon Grove. I'm excited to see the great objects this site will have when the new expansion pack comes out, since Sims will be able to have actual gardens then.

Okay, it's been a while. Life's been hectic lately. But that means a big update! Gotta look on the bright side ;)

7DS has added some nice objects to the Teen Bedroom set. The couch and chair would work well in a casual living room as well as in a bedroom.

Some really well-done celebrity heads are up at Simfreaks, along with a new outdoor set.

WDS has updated with some new skins and heads, as well as the first part of a two-part update to their WDS Store for downtown.

Also at WDS is some information on the new Sims expansion pack--you can find info at the main site. Here's the basics: the pack is called The Sims Unleashed, which refers to the fact that you can now have fully functional Sim pets; the neighborhood is expanded to include pet-related locations, such as a park; new gardening capabilites have been added, which work with the new pantry and farmer's market; there are five new career paths (fashion, teaching, circus, cooking, and veterinarian); and there are 125 new objects. It's out in September--check out the two screenshots that are up right now.

This is great--a program that takes care of all those pesky downloads that need to be unzipped. A godsend--I haven't played in a while, so I'm really looking forward to getting rid of my backlog of files that I need to unzip and getting started :)

I posted an update a few days ago, but it looks like it didn't go through. Sorry about that.

Simfreaks has added some flower girls and ring bearers, as well as some updates to the Psychle set.

Cowboy Week (as I've christened it) has begun at WDS. First up is the children's bedroom (I refuse to gender-designate it)--some items are already up, and others are yet to come.

Sandy's new Modern Line study at Around The Sims looks great--look out for the other rooms in the line that are yet to come.

SimGoddesses has updated. Amoung the updates are a new kitchen set and some walls.

Some new skins by Squeegee have been added at Simfreaks.

Exercise Week at WDS has begun--download some outfits for your Sims to wear while they get ready for the upcoming equipment.

SimGoddesses have a lovely new bedroom set available for download. It includes a great recolour of the new Vacation hotel bed.

Another update is up at Studio Sim. It includes new tile walls and floors, a new column, new storage units, new rugs, a new table, a new booth, and some paintings. Whew! There's a lof of great stuff, so check it out.

Lovely vintage posters have been added at Juniper Sun.

Here's an oldy but a goody from Simorphor. The site hasn't updated in almost a year, but their stuff is so great that I think it should get some attention. I like this bathroom set quite a lot.

Simfreaks has added some vehicles that I'm surprised noone else has thought of yet--VW beetles. There's even a freebie car, so be sure to check them out.

Two new sets of skins have been added at Sun Air Sims--a colourful female set and a designer imposters set.

A fabulous new Moroccan-inspired bedroom is up at Around The Sims, complete with matching walls and floors.

Another great new set is underway at SIMulations. It's a downtown set, with some great objects to come, and a couple already available for download.

Some great-looking Spiderman skins are available at 8DS.

SimGoddesses has updated with some new stone exterior walls.

Another big update at Studio Sim--recoloured sofas and ceiling lamps and new floors and walls.

There's a new design at Trinkets and Treasures, as well as some new cars, a new plant, and a new light.

Some new bridal skins have been added at The Sims Dreamhouse.

New outfits for women have been added at Sultry Earth--they're based on some of their formal dresses, but toned down for more everyday wear.

Kerv has updated with some new women's skins as well.

There are some new plants up in the Outdoor section at Persimmon Grove.

A lovely new shop set is up at Party Sims. There's a new kitchen, some recoloured medicine cabinets, and a lovely floral boutique set as well.

WDS pulls out all the stops by giving us two bedroom sets this week--a new one by Julia and a classic by Jenova. Look for some exercise-related items to come.

Well, it's been a while, but I'll try not to miss too much :) I'm excited to see what's been going on...

Gorgeous new site--SIMulation. This site has top notch furniture, with quality you'd expect at 7DS or Simfreaks. Make sure you check it out if you haven't already.

The tons of updates that have been up at Simfreaks include wedding skins, a living room set, a program that allows you to attach props like glasses to your Sims, and today's update, items for a fun kid's bedroom. I like the freebie cloud lamp.

WDS has updated with a colourful patio set and a lovely dark bedroom. I love the tube waterslide!

Some new beach blankets for Vacation Island have been added at the main site for Sim Day.

There have been some sale items added at Boutika, as well as some new undies, work clothes, and casual outfits.

Unfortunately, Barairo no Jinsei is on hiatus due to some bad behaviour problems the creator has had to deal with. It takes one rotten apple...

A new bedroom set is on the way at Interior Design for The Sims--the dresser, which looks great, is already available. This is the work of Terra and her new guest artist, Luisa. There's a medievil set coming soon as well. A lovely new kitchen has been added as well.

3DS is up for those who wish to get Denise's creations, but there won't be any updates.

Simfreaks is getting everyone ready for summer, with some new skins for both men and women, and a new patio set.

This Friday, WDS added a new bedroom set for hotels based on the new Vacation bed that is somewhat less....colourful than the original :)

We actually got an object for Sim Day this week at the main site--a new carnival game for Vacation.

Things at Boutika are looking lovely, with a new host and a new design. They've got some staff positions open as well, so be sure to check those out if you're interested.

There's a preview up at Interior Designs for The Sims that looks really great--I'm looking forward to getting it!

The Atrus study at Around the Sims has been expanded with some new objects.

Fairywitch and Ikbod Sim has updated. The Encyclopedia Simmanica is a great idea--you can buff up on all your skills at once :) There's also some new chairs, houses, and walls.

I need to procrastinate a little bit, so here's another update :) This is better than studying for exams, anyway.

Boutika is redecorating and will be open again in a few days.

Hanna has updated at SimSisters with a neat new mirror--you can practice your acting skills instead of a speech. Great for those Sims in the acting career category. Plus, it looks cool :) It'll still increase charisma.

Monay is back with a new site design, and lots of new skins at heads. Be sure to check them all out in the open sections.

A new rosewood furniture set has been added at Sun Air Sims.

Sim Goddesses has updated with a new kitchen set.

The clothing section is open now at The Sims Dream House.

The men's section at Sultry Earth celebrates its grand opening as well, with six new skins.

New site update--Juniper Sun has some great, Eastern-inspired objects. Check them out. I just downloaded pretty much everything on the site :) The concept for the Stylin' section is a great idea.

WDS has updated with a new living room set as well, which includes a very cute flower clock.

Unfortunately, Denise is retiring from skinning for The Sims. She may put her old stuff up elsewhere, however.

Big news at 7DS today. First of all, the preview is up for Part One of the Teen Bedroom Set. Email Garret if you have any suggestions or ideas for it. Secondly, a mirror has been added for The Sims Vacation that has some interesting properties ;) Check it out in Greed.

New anime-inspired meshes and head textures, as well as a variety of skins from a new skinner, are up at Simfreaks.

WDS has added some new Oscar and Golden Globes-inspired dresses, as well as a new living room set. Also, they've brought back Robyn's Wicker Rose bedroom. Look for more classics from Robyn--her 4 different bathrooms--to come.

Four new male skins have been added at AAS.

This Sim Day, there was a new download added at the main site--a balloon arch. Great for parties!

SimSisters is up and running again. Check out their wall ivy, to go outside a house--it looks really good, not flat at all. They've also added two more new objects, plastic dinos for the kids and a fancy bathroom mirror.

The Vegas-style updates continue at 8DS, with some awesome showgirl skins.

WDS has updated with a new sports bar for downtown. They've created some really great downtown sets. Keep watching for the Oscar and Golden Globe dresses, as well as some new makeovers.

I got Vacation for Easter, so I'm looking forward to trying it out and roaming around the Vacation exchange on the main site, finding some new hot spots for my Sims to visit together.

Some fixes for skins available at AAS have been posted, so go there and see if you need them. There's been a few skins added as well.

Hey, sorry it's been a while. Life started to pile a bunch of stuff up on me, and I needed to take a short break from a few things; this was one of them. At least today's update should be big!

Great new living room set, and some new skins (including more Simbabes) have been added at Simfreaks.

WDS has added some new spring-worthy skins (too bad the weather can't take a hint) and some odds and ends in the objects section. Look for their new forum!

AAS has updated with some new skins, in the female and the themes sections.

Lots of new The Sims Vacation info is up at the main site for SimDay. Here's some important bits: there's some new screenshots that depict the Vacation scenarios and new objects--the carnival games are cute, the snowboarding facility seems really fun, I'm amused by the outhouse, I love the stone fireplace, and there seems to be new catering tables, which is a welcome addition. There's also a link to an IGN article about the expansion pack that explains more about the program. One exciting tidbit of info is that some of the new fireplaces will have usuable mantles, for which to display your souveniers (or other goodies). Also, the kiddies will get some new interactions like the adults did with Hot Date, so that should be fun as well. End of March, people! That's soon!

One new male skin is up at AAS, and a new skinner (with new skins) will be arriving on Friday, so check back then.

The new step platform is available at Interior Designs for The Sims--they come in white, wood, and black, and they look great.

The release schedule for the HUGE little girl's room at WDS is on the main page of the site--it'll be released in four weekly installments, starting on Feb. 22. Good news at Denise's site today, twofold. First of all, she's put up a new bedroom set, which is awesome--there's a ton of pieces. Oh, and it was Denise's birthday earlier this week, so Happy Birthday Denise! I hear you on the no-longer-a-teen-now-an-adult thing--I turned 20 earlier this month as well ;)

Apparantly there have been some problems with the new Maxis patch for Hot Date and user-enabled objects for downtown--find out more here. This is a great idea for a site--house plans for The Sims. I've been using sites that have plans for real homes, but they don't always translate well to the game, so I think this is a neat idea. Also, as a bonus, they tell you how much the house will cost to construct. Check it out!

Denise has added even more additions to her great Paul Frank set, with some new bathroom accessories. Also, fans of Built to Sim will be glad to see that the downloads from there have been put on a new sale site, 3D Sister Sale.

Well, this is what I get for going away for two weeks--I miss out on info on a new expansion pack! The Main Site is back up and running, and with that comes information on The Sims Vacation. It'll have a vacation island that functions similar to the downtown neighborhood in The Sims Hot Date, except that this time the kids can come along--it's a trip for the whole family. There are three settings available--a winter vacation area (snow!), a beach setting, and a forest setting. New interactions and 120 objects are included with the game. It'll be out in the spring, and it sounds really cool :)

Look for a bedroom coming up from Interior Designs for The Sims soon--should be great.

I was finally able to access Simsisters again, so here's what they've been up to lately. Firstly, many of their downloads have been mad Mac-friendly, so check out the link to those objects on their main page if you're a Mac user. There have been a few nice new heads and skins, and some great new objects, including some more...realistic kitchen counters :)

Alright, I'm back :) I had no Internet access over the holidays, so I couldn't even check up on my favourite sites, let alone update, but you'll get a big update today. Sorry if I miss anything--I'll be all caught up really soon.

The red marble set at 7DS is on hold for a bit while some technical problems get sorted out, but it will soon return :)

There have been tons of updates at Simfreaks, of course--too many to cover--but highlights include new Real Heads, new Simhotties, Scarlett's bedroom, and Dani's new male and female skins.

WDS is doing a large expansion, which has rendered some downloads pay-basis, but has also brought back many old favourites like the Leopard bedroom set. It appears to work sort of like Salon--some content is accessible to all, some is accessible to Platinum members. There's new skins by Jenova up, and a new living room set, and the store set that they released a few months ago has been made Hot Date ready, so you can use it when building downtown.

Lots and lots of goodies are up at 3DS--more Paul Frank stuff (including a bed), more SHAG paintings, new skins and heads, and HD buyable formal outfits. Also, check out her new instructions on making items Hot Date ready.

There's a new casual update at Sultry Earth, but that's the last one for a while now--they're moving to a new server, so they won't be updating for a month.

The main site has been closed for the holidays, but will begin updating again this Thursday Sim Day.

Check out AAS for two new male skins (the redesign is nice too--reminds me of the cover art for the new No Doubt album).

New skins across the board at Boutika, and they're all loverly, of course. Check out each section to see the offerings. I especially like the Moschino-inspired Labels update, which has some great menswear looks--for women.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous objects are up at Barairo no jinsei. They're Japanese-inspired downtown objects, and they're lovely. Can you tell that I like them? I'm dying to make a Japanese eatery for my Sims now.

At Interior Designs for The Sims, there's a bit of a Japanese thing happening (I adore Japanese culture, so I'm happy)--there's a new garden with matching walls and floors, and the dining table has been updated.

A couple of new outfits have been added at Jezebel's Closet. I'm really looking forward to seeing what she does with the Spring collections.

Cheap Frills has given us an object of unparallelled genius--the forger's easel! Now you can be an artist for a living without all that nasty starving drama.

Lots of new stuff at Studio Sim, and lots more to come. Also, some objects that were giving Hot Date peeps problems have been fixed--look for the little blue star that indicates which objects have been improved.

Moni's returns, with a new yellow bathroom. There aren't enough good bathroom sets out there--I like this one.

7DS has a couple of nice new skins up at Pride.

More Christmas goodies are up at Simfreaks, and by goodies I'm literal--there's Xmas food!

Some new stuff is up at Alba Sim Fashions--there's a women's skin and some men with glasses.

Boutika has a new poll up, and some lovely new evening skins as well. Plaid Stuff is my favourite.

Enegi has a new skin up, a gold evening dress.

Tons of new stuff up at fairywithc and ikbod. Xmas stuff, new skins, houses, and downtown lots are some of the new offerings.

Lyran has some new lovely sets up. They're Hot Date ready!

Finger Mouse is back, and she brings one of her trademark downloads-with-a-twist with her. It's a tree that you can use to meditate in your garden, as well as gain body points.

More new Xmas/winter themed updates are up at Simfreaks. The snowman in particular looks awesome, and makes me sad that I can't register. Boo.

WDS is on vacation now, but there are a few Xmas uploads available--the Nutcracker heads are up, and there's a winter-themed room in objects.

Denise has added to two of her previous collections--the Paul Frank room and the SHAG paintings. I'm a big fan of both of them, so I'm happy. The potty rug is especially adorable.

The main site had a really cute download for Sim Day this week--mistletoe! Check it out.

Josie's site has another update that I just got to see, thanks to Geocities :)

Simfreaks has some new Christmas stuff up--so far there's house lights and wreaths. The icicle lights are really cool, but I can't have them, because Pay Pal won't register my credit card for some reason. Boo.

New Nutcracker-themed clothing is up at WDS.

Denise seems like she's been busy, cause there's a ton of new swimsuits up at 3DS. They're ready both for Hot Date and the regular game.

Small update at Jezebel's Closet--one of the Top Ten outfits has been made Hot Date buyable.

Wow, it's been longer than I thought it was. Sorry about that--I was busy with exams, and now I'm working full time until Christmas. Should be a big update today, anyway :)

Simday on the main site this week is a skin contest--enter your skin, and it may appear in The Sims Online.

Lots and lots of flower vases have been the order of the past few days at Simfreaks, with some walls and a new living room set thrown into the mix to stir things up a bit.

It's Geek Week at WDS, so there's lots of appropriate skins, heads, and objects to choose from, including a cool metal desk and chair set.

There's some PJ and texture fixes at Denise's site--check out the news section for those. There's also a big update for men--and it's all Hot Date compatible.

Pastababe has updated with four more models.

Cute new casual wear up at Boutika--Red Call is my favourite outfit.

If you downloaded the gorgeous ponytail mesh with flowers at Barairo no jinsei, go back and get the update on the main page--any problems have been fixed.

The dining room set has been put up at Interior Designs for The Sims, and it looks really nice. A wooden version of the staircase with shelves is coming next.

There's a couple of new men's heads at Simsisters, as well as a fix for the latest cardigan outfit (main page).

Okay, so I've been absent for a couple of days. I have an excuse though--I got Hot Date (finally!) so I've been reinstalling the game and playing around with that.

Well, now that I'm done all of my essays, I can blog with wild abandon :)

First off, the best news: Denise's new site, 3D Sister, has officially opened. You should all check it out--the downloads are amazing, and the design looks great as well. Their sister (heh) site, Simsisters, has a small update as well--take a look at Thea's new shirts in the women's section.

If you have Hot Date, and you download skins from Barairo no jinsei (you should!), go to the Recall link on their main page to get the renamed versions that won't clash with the Hot Date meshes--some of them had the same numbers.

Huh. Well. The main site actually has an object download for Sim Day this week. It's a dart board, and it would be a fun addition to a bar downtown, especially a country/western one.

New models up at Pastababe's--look for more to come.

The first addition to the new set at 7DS is up--it's a bookcase. Also, the armoire to match the love bed at 8DS is up as well.

Various requests have been filled with the newest Simfreaks update--I particularily like the new night stand. And WDS has added some new makeovers.

SimFashion by Jenny has a few new female outfits and heads available, many of which are Hot Date compatible.

Yeah, so I said I'd update less often with school and all. But I'm bored, and done stuff early, and procrastinating. Hence the update. Be greatful, y'all!

It would seem that Boutika was hacked by some meannick who turned all of their zips into nasty porno files. Weird. They're back up now, I think, and there's underwear to download, but if you accidently get porn don't go blaming me :)

Simsisters has a few updates as well--new dreads for men (yay!), glasses for women (yay!), and a kitchen counter (yay!).

Two new sets of updates are up at Simsisters--teen room addons, a new head mesh, and anew outfit. The TV with new shows is a great idea, and the disco and rockabilly outfits are very fun.

Mushroomhead is available now at AAS. Upcoming: a server switch, a redesign, and a skater/blader set.

Check out the neat beds at Scooby's--there's some great new lovebeds.

There's some great new stuff up at Simfreaks--sets from Callisto, windows, and a big chicken.

Part Two of the White Oak Lounge set is up at fairywitch and ikbod sims. I like the wood furniture a lot--very block and modern, sort of IKEA-esque. The record player bookshelf is a great idea as well, and the birthday suit wall is very cheeky ;) There's also some cute new startup screens.

There's a new section at Sarah's Rock Star Sims Boutique--Fandom. Check it out for downloads relaed to bands, like No Doubt and Everclear. There's a new skin and a poll as well.

There's a preview of the new skin set up at All About Sims--watch for them to redesign and move to a new server soon.

Another awesome update from Barairo no jinsei is up. The party dresses and new heads are really well done--this is quickly becoming a favourite site of mine, that's for sure.

The false wall fireplace is up at Interior Designs for the Sims, and it looks awesome. It was cloned from the Tiki Torch.

Guess what? The main site actually posted something useful for their Sim Day update! Imagine! It's a cataloger tool, and Paladin's Palace has had one up for a week now, but still. We have to take what we can get ;)

One month until Christmas!

Boutika has been deleted from their server, but hope to have a new host soon. That's why you've been getting a 403 if you've been going there.

There's a few new updates to the teen room at Simsisters--go to their forum and give them suggestions (not requests!) for some more items for the set. The new fuzzy table lamp is most adorable.

Another update at Sim Clothing by Josie--I really like the red striped top. Kinda new wave.

There's a great new update a Interior Designs for the Sims--the bookcase staircase is done, and there's matching walls and floors as well. Also, check out the update--that fireplace looks amazing!

There've been a couple of new updates at Simfreaks--there's a new country living room set, some more walls, and a new bedroom set. Make sure you get the freebie half moon windows.

The Harry Potter (well, fake Harry Potter) theme continues at WDS with some classroom-themed object uploads.

Cosmetics have been updated at the Sultry Earth mirror site, and Hot Date buyable skins are on the way.

One skin and two faces have been added at Alba Sim Fashions--Plum Beauty is really nice. I love that mesh. There's also a new forum there to check out.

So, it's SimDay, and there's actually something this time around at the main site this time around--a Hot Date commercial and some related skins to download. Take what we can get, folks. There's also some new reviews up, which seem largely positive.

Pastababe has some new skins up with a patterned theme. It also led me to a link for Velaria's Sim Girls, which you should check out if you haven't been before--she's got some great heads.

Thanks to the 7DS main page, I've found out about what seems to be an awesome new resource avaiable for those that have Hot Date. It's at Paladin's Palace, and it's called the SimCategorizer. It allows you to put objects in new categories as prescribed by Hot Date, which means that by putting them in a downtown category you can make user-created objects available for use Downtown :) It sounds great, and it seems that it's working well for people. If you've used it, let us know in the forum.

A check to the Simfreaks forum confirms that people are happy with the new utility at Paladin's Palace. Also, there's more Hot Date advice, and the main site has updated with some paintings and a community pool-based lot. There's news on the forum of an official tool for object categorizing that was to be released today (SimDay) on the main site, but I didn't see anything about it when I checked this morning. Maybe it'll show up later on.

Jezebel's Closet is on a bit of a hiatus, and will be adding some new skins next month. Keep checking back then for them, and I'll be sure to post here as soon as they're up :)

New sets are up at Lyran's--remember, if you have Hot Date, they won't work at this time. Hopefully some solution to this can be found soon.

I'm going to register for Simfreaks thanks to their lovely new update. There's some great Japanese style furniture up, including a very nice (and free!) fountain. Also, there's some information on how to make skins avaiable for the shopping areas downtown. They've already begun the process of converting their skins. Don't forget to check out their forum for more info on Hot Date.

WDS has a new member, Mahogohney (aka Makodream from LATS). Make sure you check out her new bedroom set on Friday.

Paladin's Palace is home to some nifty replacements (like the Grim Reaper caterer) and programs (like Sim Wardrobe, soon to be updated for Hot Date).
